Worker Expression of Interest (EOI)

Program Overview

Since September 2024, most AAIP worker streams — including the Alberta Opportunity Stream and Alberta Express Entry Stream — require candidates to submit a Worker Expression of Interest (EOI). Each EOI is scored out of 100 points: up to 69 points for human capital factors (education, language, work experience, age, and Alberta family connections) and up to 31 points for economic factors tied to an Alberta job offer.
